Concept Life Sciences is delighted to announce that we have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
As cyber threats become evermore sophisticated it’s essential that we take action to protect not only Concept Life Sciences’ data but that of our global network of clients and partners. We are therefore proud to announce our recent Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
Recommended by the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), this UK Government-backed scheme is the minimum standard all organisations should aspire to achieve.
What does Cyber Essentials Plus cover?
The certification process focuses on five critical cyber security controls:
The first stage in the certification process is self-certification followed by an independent third party audit for Cyber Essentials Plus.
Stuart Combe, Concept Life Sciences' IT Manager, led the project and commented:
“Achieving this certification demonstrates that we don’t just say we meet security standards, we prove it! It provides an excellent platform to continue developing our overall IT infrastructure with a strong foundation and cyber security a cornerstone.
In addition, with four sites across the UK, from Dundee through to Sandwich in Kent, it was imperative that we had a consistent approach at each site. This is something the Cyber Essentials framework helped us achieve.”
InfoSec Governance Ltd performed the audit, making it as simple as straight forward as possible with clear communication and audit plan.
Our commitment to data and cyber security is ongoing, ensuring that we remain a trusted partner for our clients and suppliers.
